My credit card was charged, but my return was not accepted by the IRS. Will I be charged again
when I re-file?
It is TAX$IMPLE's policy to charge your credit card one time per accepted return based on Social Security Number. This charge will be made after the initial transmission. If the initial transmission is not accepted by the IRS, your credit card will still be charged, and you will be allowed to re-file your return again after making the appropriate changes needed for no additional charge. If an additional charge is made to your card and you feel this charge is in error, please verify that the second charge relates to the same Primary Social Security Number, and call TAX$IMPLE to report the error. My Federal Return passed, but my State Return was rejected, what should I do?
State returns are submitted with a process called "State Only", with the exception of Kansas, and Missouri. This means you may file your state return irrespective of what your federal e-file status is or even if you are not e-filing your federal portion of the return. Therefore, the "State Only" returns can be resent if initially rejected. For the Other two states, you can only e-file the state return again as "State Only" if the Federal Return passes and the State Return fails. If the "State Only" option is not available, then you must paper file that particular state return.
